Sprint and Samsung announced a new Android phone at the CTIA conference in San Diego yesterday – the Samsung Moment. It packs a 3.2inch AMOLED display, 800MHz processor, 32GB of external memory (internal memory is not yet known), a 3.2 megapixel camera and flash (I hope you’re paying attention HTC…), GPS, wi-fi connectivity, bluetooth, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and, of course, Android.
This looks very like the phone that was originally dubbed the Samsung InstinctQ a few weeks back.
The Moment is going to be available for folks in the US for $179 on a 24 month contract from November 1st.
The people at AndroidandMe managed to get their hands on the Moment at the CTIA conference. Check out their findings here.
