The official name for the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10′s user interface, sorry, ‘user experience’, has now officially been revealed. For a while now, the interface has been dubbed “Rachel” by tech sites around the intertubes, but it’s official name is actually the much more macho sounding Nexus. The word around the web is that Nexus will be used by Sony Ericsson across other non-Android Sony Ericsson phones, such as their Symbian devices too (oh joy, yet more fragmentation of the Android OS…).

This follows hot on the heels of some other XPERIA X10 related news – The folks at the Android and Me site spotted an entry on the Wall Street Journal that had the X10 down as costing 6,000 Swedish kroner, which is a hefty 879 US dollars or 519 British pounds.
