Badlogic Games start Android games development blog

29 January 2010 No Comment

Android developers Stefanie and Mario (aka Badlogic Games, the creators of Newton) have started up a blog detailing their experiences with developing and publishing Android games.  They plan on covering everything from development diaries to sharing sections of code and they will also be providing valuable insights in to their publishing experience, including the marketing techniques they employ and any statistics they can glean from the Android Market.

There’s not a lot of content there at the moment (only a handful of posts in fact), but there’s enough to suggest that this could be a very useful resource for budding developers over the coming months.  Mario from Badlogic has also written an Android game development tutorial (in German) which can be found here.  He is working on an english translation, but it’s a little way off yet.  As a result of the interest generated by the tutorial, Mario has been approached to write a book on the subject.

See the blog for yourself here.
