FunkyAndroid Ltd decide not to pursure Archos through courts

7 January 2010 No Comment

A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to interview AndAppStore developer and FunkyAndroid director, Al Sutton. At the time, as mentioned in the article, FunkyAndroid Ltd were involved in a dispute with Archos over allegations of redistribution of confidential information.  Just a couple of days ago, FunkyAndroid released a statement to the effect that they have decided not to pursue the matter any further in courts.  The statement details their reasoning behind the decision, namely, that FunkyAndroid Ltd are of the opinion that Archos SA may have ceased trading before any proceedings were concluded.  I have no idea how accurate FunkyAndroid Ltd’s predictions are for Archos SA’s financial state, but if you’d like to read the full press release, it can be found here.
