A few weeks back, we mentioned that award winning mobile RPG, Zenonia, was on it’s way to Android. It’s makers, Gamevil, have today announced that the game is finally available to purchase. Sadly, it’s not all good news: the app is only available for devices running Android 1.6 or higher, which rules out all you Hero users out there, and, also, it’s coming in at $5.99, which, at the end of the day, isn’t really a lot of money, but it is more expensive than the majority of games on the market, and it seems there are a lot of folks who are reluctant to shell out more than a few dollars for a game. Still, given it’s proven pedigree on the iPhone, we expect Zenonia will go on to sell extremely well even with a higher than average asking price.
Zenonia is an anime style RPG which sees you play the part of young warrior, Regret, in his quest to find out what happened to his dead father. It’s standard RPG fare, with side quests, skills to improve, moral decisions and various different character classes. If you liked the old school Final Fantasy or Zelda games, then this is a similar sort of affair.
