The folks at Android France have managed to get their digits on the soon to be released new Android phone from LG; the LU2300. The LU2300 will apparently see a release in Korea at some point over the next month.
The specs are still a little sparse on this one, but what we do know is the phone will be running Android 2.1, powered by a 1GHz SnapDragon CPU. It uses a 3.5inch, 800 x 480 WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, has a 5MP camera and a slideout QWERTY keyboard which should please the folks who won’t look at a phone unless it has a physical keyboard. It can also play 720p HD videos and it will also carry a DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) tuner, which will connect to Korean terrestrial TV broadcasts. All of this is packaged in a pretty nice looking handset.
