Stuff.tv get their hands on the ICD Gemini

Stuff.TV were given a bit of time to play around with the ICD Gemini, which was announced yesterday. Given the use of phrases such as “pant-wettingly thrilling” and “blisteringly fast” in their hands on article, we’re guessing they quite liked it. The unit they had was a prototype and was nowhere near finished, so they did find some flaws, such as the touchscreen being resistive rather than capacitive (although apparently the final versions will have capacitive screens) and a number of the features, such as VOIP, were not fully implemented yet. All of these bugs though are expected to be tweaked out prior to release.

It’s looking like the IDC Gemini will be a very credible high end tablet. Still no word on pricing
