Following on from our post a few days ago detailing the latest round of excuses from Enso, we received an email from a reader who has ran out of patience with the company and given up on ever receiving either a ZenPad or a refund. Here’s what the reader had to say:-
I have been trying to get my Enso Zenpad since the promised
release date of May 8th and am now resorting to contacting various
Websites about this issue.
I ordered my Zenpad on March 22nd. They have changed the ship date a
number of times. I have it in writing that my order would be one of
the first shipped out so I expected a tracking number by now. I
haven’t gotten a thing from them so I’ve emailed them 3x since May
20 but they have not replied.
I suspect everyone who ordered one is in the same boat. I finally
emailed Enso advising them that I was going to ask some Websites to
try to find out what was going on with our orders.
So, despite the promises of a May 8th ship date for the first batch of customers, the units are still not making an appearance. On top of this, earlier today Engadget ran an article pointing out that, despite Enso’s claim in their recent excuse email, that Engadget would “receive their test unit within Tuesday of the next week”, the gadget site has yet to receive a review unit-
{Enso} has been using Engadget’s good name to convince irate customers that its product actually exists. We gave Enso the benefit of the doubt at first, but let’s put things in perspective: we have not received an zenPad tablet, and in fact, we no longer expect to. Enso has now promised us a review unit on five separate occasions beginning in early April, and missed each deadline it set for itself. We do not endorse the supposed product, and we’d appreciate it if you pay no attention when company founders tell you otherwise.
If you haven’t grasped the gist of this ongoing saga by now, here it is in a nutshell – avoid attempting to buy the Enso ZenPad like the plague.

I placed an order for an Enso Zen Pad but thanks to Engadgets articles I went directly through PayPal and filed a claim that they were fradulant and I received a full refund in 30 days but not after having emailed Enso several times and being ignored this is a scam do not buy this product it does not exist.
