Mobile game developers Connect2Media have released the third installment of the Konami point and click horror series franchise, Silent Hill. Silent Hill Mobile 3, which is to be the last in the series, sees you alternating between standard point-and-click and first person shooter game mechanics as you battle to unravel the mysteries of the town of Silent Hill – a place in which H P Lovecraft would have felt right at home. We took the game for a spin.
The official description from the Android market reads-
“Silent Hill Mobile 3 is …

Review time again. This week, we’ve been taking a look at another puzzle game, this time Connectoo by Rudolf Halmi. ConnecToo involves connecting a number of blocks of colour with another block of the same colour on a grid. You draw a path on the grid between two similarly coloured blocks to join them up, but you need to plan carefully as you need to leave yourself a clear path to join the other blocks on the grid and you only have a limited amount of time to do it.

Ths Mystique series of atmospheric episodic 3D games are among the most popular titles available on the Android Market. The latest episode, Chapter 3: Obitus, has just been released by Bendroid and will undoubtedly sell well if the first two games are anything to go by. I’ve been giving the new episode a thorough playthrough and thought it was time to post a review.
Obitus sees the Mystique plotline continue further – Chapter 1 saw you wake up in a bathroom you didn’t recognise with no idea how you got there. …

I have a confession – my name’s Martin and I’m an adulterer. I’ve cheated on my HTC Hero – I spent the last few days playing around with a Motorola Milestone (kindly supplied by Motorola’s PR people), and I’m impressed. This is a seriously slick phone.
Upon taking receipt of the review unit, I have to confess I wasn’t exactly overwhelmed by the Milestone’s appearance when I opened the box. I’m not a big fan of the phone’s look; it’s all angles and hard edges. Picking it up, it’s got a …

There’s a new app on the market which may appeal to those who like games. It’s a games portal called GamesPlaza which features a centralised area for Android game info, screenshots, trailers and a selection of mobile gaming related tweets. The makers of the app stipulate that all of the games on the site must be free to play, free to download, or free to try – at the end of the day though, when most paid games also have a free lite or trial version anyway, this stipulation isn’t …

Time for another game review. Up today is yet another physics-based puzzler (I know, I know, it seems like every second game in the Android market is a physics game, but it’s a popular genre). Today it’s Newton by Badlogic Games. Gameplay in Newton revolves around shooting white projectiles from a yellow cannon at a pink circle (any metaphorical sexual connotations you may draw from that scenario are purely coincidental I’m sure…), using a number of objects which alter the shell’s trajectory in different ways to navigate around obstacles of …
