Popular RPG Zenonia coming to Android

Gamevil have announced that this month they will be releasing an Android version of their very popular role-playing action game, Zenonia.  Zenonia has sold more than a million copies worldwide across the iPhone, Windows Mobile and BREW platforms.

Google to launch App Store for Business

Mashable are reporting that Google are set to launch an app store targeting business users at some point over the course of the next week, possibly as early as tomorrow.  To my mind, this is a good move for Google.  They need a strong catalogue of enterprise apps if they have any plans to make in-roads in tempting the corporate market.
The existing apps market receives a lot of criticism due to it being occasionally difficult to navigate.  It’s also full of all sorts of nonsense apps such as soundboards and …

Apps we’d love to see on Android

Following a discussion conducted in a bar over the weekend (the best kind of discussion as far as we’re concerned), we thought we’d put together a list of the applications and games we’d most like to see being released on the Android platform. Truckbot – an Android powered robot

A couple of enterprising web engineers called Tim Heath and Ryan Hickman are using an Android phone as a ‘brain’ for a fully mobile robot they have created.  At the moment, it’s nothing more than a cardboard wagon with a phone on top and it doesn’t do very much more than roll around, but it’s creators see a lot of potential in the little fella that they call – “Truckbot”.

Confirmation emails for free Android phones start to reach developers

You’ll no doubt have heard the news that Google are giving out free Nexus One or Motorola DROID phones to Android developers who have apps with over 5,000 downloads and an average rating over 3.5 stars.  There were initially some concerns that this was a hoax designed to get developers’ personal details which prompted comments and tweets from Google officials which went some way to ease the worries, but there were still a few developers out there who were wary.  Well, Mario from Badlogic Games got in touch yesterday to …

Deliverace, stunning 3D race game, coming to Android soon

Whilst browsing Badlogic Games’ blog, I spotted the video at the bottom of this article. It’s an upcoming Android game from Pixelbite, the team behind the Polarbit published Raging Thunder 2. Check out the video, if the Android version looks anywhere near as good as the video, this could be one hell of a sweet game.
