Motorola Takes Hard Line Against Leaked 2.2 Users

Just over a week ago a leaked version of 2.2 was made available to Motorola Droid X users. The news seems to be bad for those early adopters with Motorola taking a firm stance against the leaked Froyo ROM and not offering an upgrade path to the official OTA update. Google Buys Mobile Social Gaming Developer

There’s no denying that, when it comes to mobile gaming, you could argue that Android currently lags behind the offering on Apple devices. Google might be one step closer to changing that with a recent acquisition of mobile social game developer, Social Deck.

Android App Submissions Hit 100,000

Way back a whole 11 months or so ago, the Android Market contained a total of 10,000 apps. Fast forward to this month and new research from Androlib suggests that 100,000 app submissions have been made to the Market since its launch. Don’t get too excited however. That doesn’t mean there are 100,00 downloadable applications quite yet, as some of these apps have been unpublished or removed, leaving a total of 83,000 active applications.

Bendroid announce the release of CarWash 3D, Win a Verizon DROID

Bendroid, the development team behind the hugely popular Mystique series of games, have announced the release of their latest Andriod game, CarWash 3D.
